Charlie Petrovich

PetrovichCharlie Petrovich attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School on full academic scholarship, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2013. Soon after being admitted to the bar, he began representing indigent clients at a small public defense firm in Bay City, Michigan, where he discovered that he has a passion for representing the underprivileged and helping them navigate the confusing world of criminal law. Mr. Petrovich eventually returned to his hometown of Lansing, Michigan, where he continued following his passion by joining the ranks of assigned counsel in the system which preceded the advent of the Public Defender’s Office. Now that he has been chosen to be an Assistant Public Defender, Mr. Petrovich is looking forward to joining, working with, and learning from the fellowship of highly skilled and experienced attorneys who have been chosen to lay the foundations of this Office and improve the lives of those facing criminal prosecution.

“All men are ignorant. The topics of our ignorance may change, but the nature of the world is that no man may know everything.” – Androl Genhald
