Josh Marcum



MarcumJosh is an experienced criminal litigator with close to 150 criminal jury trials as a lead attorney. He has personally handled cases ranging from minor misdemeanors to first-degree murder and everything in between.  

He began his criminal law career as an Assistant Prosecutor with the Oakland County Prosecutor's Office, where he was responsible for thousands of cases while assigned to the Misdemeanor, Juvenile and Felony Trial divisions. He later served as an Assistant District Attorney for the 21st District of Tennessee, an Assistant Attorney General for the Michigan Office of the Attorney General and as the Juvenile Court Referee for Livingston County, Michigan. 

After nearly a decade serving the public as a criminal prosecutor, Josh is now using his vast criminal law knowledge and experience to represent and protect individuals who find themselves charged with a crime.

Josh is a 2002 graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Law and is a proud Volunteer. He is licensed in Michigan, Ohio, Texas and Tennessee along with numerous Federal Courts. He is a resident of Okemos, Michigan and spends his free time running, swimming and listening to the Grateful Dead with his daughter. He does not like wearing a tie.
