Tiffany Shelton was born and raised in Rochester, New York. She attended Keuka College where she graduated with a Baccalaureate Degree in Criminal Justice Systems. After graduating Keuka College she moved to Lansing, Michigan to attend Western Michigan Thomas M. Cooley Law School. While at Cooley she participated in Mock Trial, Law Review, and was selected to represent the school at the Phillip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition in Chicago, Illinois. She graduated Cum Laude from Western Michigan Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2018.
Following her admittance to the State Bar of Michigan she began her legal career at the Ingham County Public Defender’s Office. Prior to her admission to the State Bar of Michigan, she was a law clerk for several attorneys in the Lansing area. She is committed to indigent defense, protecting client’s constitutional rights, and providing adequate representation to those accused of committing a crime.
