Amanda Gilpatrick was born on the Ft. Bragg Army base, in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and raised in Ft. Knox and Rineyville, KY until June 2000, when she moved to Waukesha, WI where she resided until July 2011 when she moved to Lansing, MI. Amanda obtained her high school diploma in 2006 from Waukesha West High School, her B.S. in Political Science in 2009 from the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay, and her post-bachelor’s Paralegal Certificate from Lansing Community College in 2013.
Upon completion of the Paralegal Certificate program, Amanda joined the firm of Mallory, Lapka, Scott & Selin, PLLC, as a paralegal working in domestic and criminal defense law for attorneys Pamela Amato and the Honorable Stacia Buchanan. In 2017, she joined the law firm of Bailey & Terranova, as a paralegal for attorney Matthew J. Bailey, doing primarily domestic law, as well as Title IX cases for Michigan State University.
In her personal life, Amanda enjoys baking treats for her business, G&T Sweet Shoppe, exploring Michigan - especially the outdoors, travelling home to Wisconsin to visit with her family, cheering on the Green Bay Packers, Wisconsin Badgers and other Wisconsin sports teams, running, and going to Lake Michigan.
